The importance of sourcing goes back a long way. From childhood, Camille was taught the importance of the origin of products, their quality, and the homemade aspect...
So it was only natural that in 2015, when we opened our café in Lyon, good sourcing and good products were at the heart of our concerns. We always look for the best supplier who works in our region and shares our values.
Our menus also change with the seasons; the seasonality of fruits and vegetables is a priority.
Ethical & Responsible Commitments
At Slake, quality takes precedence over trends. In 2019, we chose to discontinue our best-selling product (the salmon-avocado pancake & the avocado toast) out of ethical conviction.

Organic & Local Eggs: We work exclusively with organic eggs from farms located near our shops in Lyon and Annecy.

100% Homemade: Everything is cooked on site from start to finish. Only the bread for our toasts is carefully selected from a local artisan bakery.
